Catherine Louis Nikita
Founder / CEO
Catherine Louis Nikita is a French seasoned senior curator and producer and has worked in the cultural sector for over 25 years.
Her expertise lies in curating, art and cultural management, developing educational programs, and comprehensive art consulting services particularly in archaeology, contemporary visual arts, and photography.
In the field of cultural management, she is bringing innovative projects to life in collaboration with national and international cultural operators in Cyprus and all over Europe.
As Director, for 15 years, of the “Lanitis Cultural Center” in Limassol and head of cultural policy at the “Evagoras and Kathleen Lanitis Foundation”, Catherine has provided cultural development strategy and successfully headed interdisciplinary teams to deliver large-scale exhibitions.
Before moving to Cyprus, she worked for Louvre Museum – Paris, Carnavalet Museum – Historical Museum of Paris and Sotheby’s – Paris.
Over the last 7 years, she developed leadership and creative skills in realizing art international exhibitions from various fields, from Archaeology to contemporary visual arts or Photography. She also conducted museology studies and strategies for different institutions including advanced collection management and integrating conservation efforts to preserve cultural heritage.
Catherine Louis Nikita is a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters of France and she speaks French, English, Greek and Spanish.
